H&R completed a new baghouse project at CMC Birmingham in February 2017. The new baghouse is the largest in CMC Corporate Divisions spanning through the United States. H&R installed equipment for over a year working hand-in-hand with plant personnel scheduling all work to keep the plant running and minimizing downtime. The duties consisted of heavy lifting, piping, mechanical installation, 1/2 mile of 16ft overhead ductwork that spanned over existed buildings, demolition, large fan installations, two new buildings, and a new 16 compartment baghouse. The project was completed on time, incident free, and within budget.
